Hyundai Accent Forum The Hyundai Accent Forum. Hyundai's little champ. While the Hyundai Accent and Hyundai Excel may be small, they respond very well to aftermarket modifications and is among the favorites for Hyundai tuners.

Wow, this would be a great question for the ENGINE forum.

Although I was once guilty of it as well please do not use the caps lock button in on posistion.

Why do you feel you need bigger injectors? Have you or will you in the future upgrade your fuel pump? You may wish to start there instead of swapping injectors. You will also want a way to control a larger amount of fuel if you do need it. I would recomend the SAFC to trim your fuel levels. I actually would recomend that have the mechanical work done then have your car tuned and see if you are running lean or not. Hyundais in general tend to run on the rich side so that would be a good place to start.
Also if you just want to do a search on injectors using the search button at the top of forum main page. There have been many post on injectors and they can lead you in the right direction.

I feel so powerful

First question I guess is: are you sure you'll need them?

Check this out about aftermarket injectors, why many aren't compatible with the stock ECU:

If you are looking at new injectors, I'll guess you also would be looking for an upgraded fuel pump--in fact, a pump alone may be enough to service your needs.

I couldn't dig up anything in particular on the accent injectors though, sorry, but apparently these guys can have just about anything made:

My guess is that larger injectors would not be needed in your application. Maybe if you were running a BIG cam.

The stock system should handle and compensate for your current modifications. If not, my order of adjustments would be... slightly larger fuel pump... then S-AFC. Only then, larger injectors... and then only about 10-15% larger.

But I can pretty much bet my left nut that you won't need to resort to all that.

Good point, add to your list to have the intake manifold port matched to your new throttle body and maybe extrude honed.
