I recently added a cone air filter to my 97 automatic 4 door accent. It works nice at the high end.
But is there a cheap mod to improve the low end?
I know that a big bore will do that, and i read something on porting or boring the intakes, but that its out of my reach at the moment.

 

Anyone please?

 

level10 torque converter is all i can say

but its like 400-600 bucks but will get you the low end you need
they said something like instant power and feels like a 5spd

 

Accually any modification will give you a little Low End power. If you look at a dyno of a Mod that was just done, you can see that the Low end has a bigger jump than the Higher end.
Example: If you put a CAI(Cold Air Intake) on your car, you may see a 5hp jump on the high end. Now if you look at the low end, you can also see that there was a 6-8hp jump.

A Cam will be a good mod for Low End Power, a 4-2-1 (If you can find one) Exhaust manifold will give you more Low End Power. Other mods too, CAI, BBTB, Lighten Flywheel, Port N Polished Heads, Port N Polished intake, etc.. will give you low end power. Good Luck.

 

How much does the port and polish cost?

The level ten conversion sounds nice until you get to the price part of course... geez!

I have to keep in mind that after all, my car resale price is low so i cant spend that much on a single thing
