Default Intake on a 2001 Accent

Well there is this car place called Lightspeed and they install their own air intake. My friend got one on his 99 civic and it makes it just a little louder, also he says he gained some hp.

If i were to get one of those, is it better? Could it void the warranty by any means? Thanks for your answers.

Hey drnext, I have a an civic intake on my 2k2 accent GS 1.6l and it added alot of power. A sound too. Everything was no more then 65 dollars at auto zone. all you have to do is cut 3 inches off the intake. hope this helps peace Ben
