How could you make an Accent AWD?

Would you have to figure out how to match a DSM transmission to your Alpha or is there a different way? How are the rally accents done so they have AWD?

I think all of the WRC Accents had Beta engines if I recall correctly. I'm foggier on the AWD setup though.
