Default home made strut bar?

thinking about makeing my own strut bar out of some material i have laying around. can any one see a problem with doing this? i mean its just a bar right? and should i make it solid or adjustable? thanks in advanced for any input

Should be fine as long as you use pressure treated lumber.

Look man, it's unlikely to make any noticeable difference in handling. Have you got solid strut tops?

Unless you're an experienced welder and have a current bar to form the base it sounds like a bad idea.

That said, I personally would like to a nice triangular strut brace made for our cars one of these days

i say go for it. if you're not an experienced welder, its a damn good way to learn. have to start somewhere.
