Default gutless accent

I'm really hoping someone out there can help me figure out why my accent all of a sudden lost power. Here's the situation. When my car had 99,988km on it, my engine light came on. I found out that it was my Mass Air Flow sensor. I should of fixed it right away but funds were tight, so I drove for about 5 months before I got a new one. With time my car started to become more gutless, it would lose power on hills, I was getting beaten off the line by the most pathetic cars like Ford Tempos, so I hope u get the idea. After months of frustration I finally found the problem. My catilityc converter was plugged solid. So I did the first thing I thought would fix the problem, I hollowed out the cat. And it made a huge difference. Now I should mention that I did design a short ram intake for the car, and installed a sport muffler, along with Bosch Platinum spark plugs. But at first after fixing the problem, I could get the car up to 50km in first gear, 80km in second, 115km in third, 150km in fourth, and then I eased up on the throttle. Now for pretty much stock 1.5 ltr sohc engine, I thought that was pretty impressive. Now here comes the problem, after about a week of the new improved accent, it started up again, dieing on hills, so on and so forth. So once again I took off the manifold and sure enough there was a little piece of, I call it coal, inside the cat. After taking it out, I went for a test drive, but it still wasn't back to the way it was. I was and still to this day only able to hit 35-40km in first gear, and it takes longer. The engine light came back on so I had it scanned, and the only reading it's coming back with is exhaust, obviously, no cat, and possible Mass Air Flow. So this is where I'm a little stuck, I know that was a long explanation, but I wanted to make sure I didn't miss any details.

Try replacing the cat and oxygen sensors. Also, try to break up large blocks of text into paragraphs, its easier to read that way.

I agree with Skierd. Replace your cat, and probably o2 sensors.
