good fuel pump for accent
what a good fuel pump for an accent?
should i use the zex inline pump?
or would a tibby pump work for me?
ive been running the zex 55 shot for a while now with no real problems but im moving up.
since we are on the subject what is a good auto tranny cooler?

There are a host of auto tranny coolers on the market. The most important part is to MOUNT it in the right location for proper air flow/cooling. You should also install a tranny temp gauge to make sure you don't OVERCOOL the tranny fluid.
For your 98 accent, the inline fuel pump would work, but installing an inline pump is a PITA. I've never seen the accent fuel pump, so I'm not sure if the Tibby pump, or the upgrades for the tibby pump would be a drop in replacement for you or not. Let me try to do some research over the weekend and I can get back to you on Monday.

For the tranny cooler, it depends on the size/shape of the cooler. In general, it would be best to mount it in front of the AC condenser and radiator, however I have also seen them mounted "out of the way" in fenderwells with thermstatically controled fans on them. That would prevent you from "overcooling" the tranny fluid, but would somewhat limit the cooling ability of the tranny cooler itself. I doubt if you have much to worry about in the way of Cold weather in South Carolina, so I'd say in front of the AC/radiator should be fine. Properly sizing the unit does matter. A unit intended for a large truck will overcool your tranny, unless you plan on racing your tibby on track somewhere for extended periods (not drag racing), I'd stick with a fairly small unit.
