It would help if you replaced that broken head gasket.
A car running perfectly clean would have a metal-colored tip. My cars have all had black (very light soot) tips. If the INSIDE of your exhaust tip is changing colors, that points to possible engine problems.
Is it the inside or the outside of the tip? Is this a new phenomenon?
