I have a large roll of 3M double sided tape that's sitting in my toolbox in my garage and I need it for a project I'm doing. It's been freezing cold out which means the tape has been in the same temperatures because my garage isnt heated. Will the tape be ok to use if I bring it inside and let it warm up or does the cold weather mess it up to where the holding power is lessened?

 

As long as it's warm when you apply it, you shouldn't have any problems.

 

I've been using the same roll of 3m double sided tape for many years. 7, 8 years i don't even remember. It still works great. Test out a small piece and see if it still holds, if you're worried.
