Hyundai Accent Forum The Hyundai Accent Forum. Hyundai's little champ. While the Hyundai Accent and Hyundai Excel may be small, they respond very well to aftermarket modifications and is among the favorites for Hyundai tuners.

Default accents dont like to braking hard :(

Hello everybody! My name is Andrew and i'm from Poland.
Ok. smile.gif ahh sorry for my english. Nobody's perfect. wink
Here is my problem.
In my 96 accent brakes arent good, especially when braking from a high speed.
I've read some of topics in that problem
http://www.hyundaiaftermarket.com/cgi-bin/...c;f=17;t=001256
http://www.hyundaiaftermarket.com/noncgi/u...c;f=17;t=001315
, but i've got more questions...

It is possible to change in rear brake from the drum brakes to a disc brakes, lets say from lantra, maybe from coupe(tiburon) or sonata. if possible, what year of car i should look for & engine version.
I can't find info on webtech sad.gif
And second problem, to change front stock brakes to a bigger ones from ... yes. what?
Of course stock ones.
I wanna find & use a used parts, maybe in country or in Germany.
Then, if succesfull - change them to a new one (ferodo, brembo), if i collect more money to my wallet.
Greetings for hyundai fans!
Bor

I beleive that only HVE has attempted something like this, and they are no longer serving the open public eg now only aussie. I emailed precisionbrakes.com about it (they did Bat Lord's tib), and they said for sure they could do it, just let them know when I was ready (to pay for it) and they would get working on it.

If anyone else can help out....yeah....
