Accent grind into 2nd

Hi,
My accent has a problem. When I shift very quickly from 1st to 2nd, it grinds the gear. Now if I shift to N quickly, then to 2nd quickly it doesnt grind. And if I shify slowly it wont grind. I always have the clutch to the floor when shifting.
I'm guessing its my syncros? It is easier to just get a whole new transmission or can the syncros be replaced for less money? I dont mind paying the money for either. I just want it done quickly.

you can try to replace the trans fluid with some syncromesh or redline mt-90 and see if that helps

find a new trans building yours is gonna take time, im pretty sure no one stocks parts for hyundai transmissions

Redline MT-90 will almost certainly solve your problem. I was about to replace my trans at 50k miles it was grinding so badly on the 1-2 shift, now I'm at 146k miles and it has now started grinding again, but the grind free 100k miles was nice.
Here'S the deal man. My Beta trans does this too. I'm pretty sure it's the synchro's like you said, but.....I don't think there's anything wrong with them. I think Hyundai's trannys just aren't built to be beaten on. I couldn't find any redline fluid locally so I just mixed in some super thick fluid with my normal tranny fluid. it kind of helped. Now that I live in the arctic, the fluid can get so thick I can't even shift until everythingn heats up, but once it does it shifts great, but sometimes it still grinds.
Swap your fluid like these guys say and you'll be happy with the result but you might still have problems. I've found that there's a TINY sweet spot where it will shift like a dream at high revs, but anything higher or lower and it'll grind. I would say shift slowly like you've been doing when you're driving normally. It's a pain but cheaper than a new tranny.

i too have this problem with mine, 76K on mine, and its only over 5500rpm that it grinds. so MT-90 redline fluid huh...
also i looked for a fill spot on the trans with no luck, found the drain but where is the fill plug at?
