Any country getting Accent 2.0? Was it ever made to homologate it for WRC?

Anybody knows if the 1.6 Beta ever installed in the Accent?

 

Unfortunately, because the accent falls under the WRC category, zero have to be sold to the public for homologation purposes.

The accent has always been factory equiped with an alpha motor, including the new 1.6L DOHC alpha III.

Yeah, but not for the wrc-class, lol. Hey, maybe you could try out the 1.6L DOHC from the states and get some parts going for us. wink

 

That would be awsome if Hyundai offered the accent with the 2.0 beta engine.
