if i can find it i'll let you know what issue maybe the have back issues on the web like sport compact. and i may be wrong but im pretty sure its an accent

I live in Puerto Rico and Su Majestad:La Pulga(Her majesty:The Flea) is an Accent bodied 2.0L tibby engined race car. It is now currently running about 55psi of boost out of an extreme custom turbo job that the specs of which are obviusly classified. What I do know from talking to the teams members is that it has a stock bottom end, albeit with forged rods and pistons. The last time I went to the track and it was up for competition it ran a 9.15s pass at the Ponce International Speedway oh and it doesnt have nitrous anymore. I cant remember the mph but I will go to the track on Wednesday and update you on the time specs.

Not revive and old thread, but I saw this thread and another post on HP from this week:
The owner and driver of La Pulga (The Flea) has passed away in an accident at the Salinas Speedway in PR doing what he loved most. He was attempting to obtain his NHRA Liscence in a Grand National (tube chassis). This man Kurt Garmendia best known as Misito had the fastest Accent 9.2 seconds on the 1/4 mile. He leaves behind a wife kids and friends who will miss him greatly. His shop is located in Ponce, PR, he and his team were featured in Super Street at Englishtown raceway, NJ back in the day and has been an inspiration to many in the Hyundai Communities. Please stop by djfiebre.com for a video dedicated to him with a few of his passes on the 1/4 mile which was very well done.
