Default 3" intake pipe for 98 accent, 1.5L SOHC

I've made a CAI for this car, but its factory circ, which is 2", would bumping up to 3" help at all? Keep in mind that there's no BBTB or anything like that, all stock......with a lil throttle in a bottle

I have a 99 Accent & when I made my CAI...I went from 2.5 to 3 inches (where the filter connects).
I tried using 2.5 all the way & my car wasn't getting enough air. So I went from 2.5 to 3.
That was my experience anyhow. Peace...

The Tib does not require as many 90 degree bends as the Accent. I had to use 2 and I had to go under the battery plate, instead of in the fender (as in the RS). That's the main reanson why I had to go from 3 inches to 2.5 inches...to get more air up through those 90 degree bends.

Did that make sense? eek!
