Yup. the 1.6L DOHC is the alpha III, the third evolution of the alpha series motor that started its life in the scoupe.

id love to see a turbo kit for the 1.6L, id also like to seeSR carry a front and rear upper and lower strut bars for them also.

I wouldnt hold your breath for either the bars or the turbo. The 1.6L uses a returnless fuel system, making tuning the turbo kit more difficult and expensive, both to prototype and produce.

Also, thanks to how high the intake manifold sits on the 1.6L (just look at the underside of the hood and you'll see the cutouts that make the IM fit eek! ). There is no room for a strut bar to really fit unless it goes behind the manifold, the way one of SR's KOmpetitoRE's bar does.

As for the rear bar... I dont know why no one other than HDK carries it yet, lol.
