Why not do a swap worth doing and put the Tibby motor in?

Yup. What year is your Accent?

The WRC Accent (2000 Accent) has a Tibby motor turboed, and there are many turboed Beta engines in 95-99 Accents in Korea.

Sure it will fit. Those crazy Korean guys swap in 2.0L Tiburon engines along with insane turbo setups for 600+ wheel horsepower.

But really, the stck 140HP Tiburon engine in an Accent would murder a LOT of things. Swap in just the simple bolt-on stuff (intake, throttle body, intake manifold, header, exhaust) and you've got a 160HP Accent with almost the same amount of torque.

Accent_Power, KORE (http://www.kore-motorsorts.com) can get the engines and we're (HP.Com) working on a swap kit that will make the swap VERY easy.

Hey Red, wanna race when I get my swap wink.gif.

Seriously though, I'm gonna take a trip out to the boonies ( wink.gif) and see your car sometime once you get it running at MaDD BoOsT.

You still want that 2.0L elantra engine? If nobody claims it in about 2 weeks, the dealership's gonna send it to the scrapyard.

That 2.0L is tempting, but I don't have $300 right now. If I have it in the next 2 weeks I'll grab it.
