Default 1.5 sohc help

Okay just did a clutch job on the 99 accent easier than a honda if you will. After installing everything and getting the car running its got a nasty tick in the upper valve train probably needs new valves and valve seals looking to go after market to raise potential rpm (i know the g4ek is capable of at least 9k now iam a vdub owner and dont know the parts basis for the accent or where to get them. I went to my local tuner shop and they laughed at me (what a suprise everyone under estimates the accent platform) so basicaly need help with a location site for pistons/rings, race bearings, valve train assembly ie: rocker arms, valves, valve seals. now price is an issue so looking for the cheapest way to upgrade without upgrading, any help would be greatly appriciated. thanks in advance.

cheapest way to upgrade wihtout upgrading would be to get the motor from a 1997-2000 elantra (easier to find in junkyards than tibs) and swap it into your vehicle

search around for "beta swap"
