Default 04 Accent GL body kits

Hey guys, new to the whole car forums and tuning but ive got a 2004 Accent GL 4 door and im looking to do a rally inspired body kit. So far im having a very hard time finding any body kits or single bumpers that work the car here in Canada. if anyone can lead to me some websites that they have purchased their kits off of im willing to give it a look.

Also looking to do some tuning to get just a little more power out of the 1.6L stock engine.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

For the engine, look into doing a Beta engine swap. Lots of info in the Hybrid forum and its been done a ton of times by Accent owners. You wont find much for your 1.5 alpha engine other than intakes and custom exhausts. You could do forced induction with a custom turbo, but because beta engines and trannys can be found for a 3-500 bucks, its easier and cheaper to go that route.

4 door kits are much harder to find than 2 doors, but the front and rear bumpers should be the same between each other.

As someone who has dumped a fair amount of money into a n/a 1.6l, I will suggest that you don't go that route. The returns are not worth the investment.

If you want relatively easy power the 2.0l Beta swap makes the car feel pretty much right. I'm not going to lie, it still doesn't feel fast, but no longer feels underpowered.

If you want to go turbo the Beta is also better suited with far better parts availability and the potential to make a lot of power.

If you just want to add a short ram intake and get a muffler shop to weld you in a new muffler have at it if that will make you happy. If you want more either do the Beta swap and/or go turbo.
