where is the canister
where is the charcoal canister on a 1999 Hyundai accent
I have seen 2 answers, under the battery box up front under hood and in the rear near a black flap.???need real help a picture would be great

1997's have it up by the battery. Look under the back bumper of the car opposite side of the exhaust. There will be a black slotted cover held up by a 1 inch thick metal strap held up by 2 bolts.
