Aluminum.

Looks like they're possibly clearcoated also.

Painted aluminum. They look fairly cheap, which means the finish is probably pretty fragile.

So what kind should I buy to clean they make the car go fast I want to keep for a while

the inside of the rims are painted black.

Any wax designed for painted surfaces... not metal polish.

Do you think scrub sponges and aluminum wheel cleaner will work to clean the spots off the rim?

i8acobra May 16, 2013 12:17 AM

When cleaning painted wheels, the rule is simple... If you wouldn't use it on your car's bodywork, don't use it on your wheels.
