ever since i "*****ed" with my gauges my fuel level gauge stoped working....it always says that my tank is full.
PS: when i almost ran out of gas yestarday low fuel light did come on.
oh yes and i forgot to mention that i drove around for some time without one of the bolts that hold that thing that moves the needle... motor i guess.
i have a feeling that that little bolt did more then just hold that thing in place...i will try check teh fuses tomorrow see whta happens

Your fuel gauge needle could be presed in too hard, stopping it from moving.
You could have damaged/broken the stepper motor that makes the needle move.
You could have damaged/broken the wiring/circit board that connects the fuel gauge sender to the wiring.
Your fuel level sender could be bad (there are 2. One attached to the pump for the fuel gauge, and another in the tank, on the bottom of the pump/stalk for the low fuel light).
