well, F??K ME!!!
ok, most of you know that i moved from fl to ct to attend college. well, i still have my fl tires on the car...nice soft dry-performance tires. i know this will be one of the questions asked, so i'll just answer it. why didn't i get snow tires? because my father can be cheap in that way...his solution was "don't drive." ok, well i basically was putting along at about 15mph on a road while it was snowing. there was about 1/4" of snow accumulation. i was approaching a stop sign, going down a hill that curved. i was gently pumping the brakes, paying attention to not lock the tires up. well, the tires locked up for just enough time to point the car towards a guardrail. i didn't have enough time to correct the direction of the car...if i turned the wheel too quickly, the tires would just turn, but the car would still be going its own way. i smashed the front passenger corner into the guardrail. so...how hard is it to replace body parts. the front lip/fascia and the front right fender panels are damaged...to the point where the "dent doctor" couldn't fix it. i'm basically asking if there are "fitting" issues? like i know that with some body kits, it's a PITA to fit the pieces. my plan is to buy the pieces from a "wholesale" dealer (the place i bought my tranny swap parts) and have either the dealership or a good body shop paint them. then, i'd do the install to save money. is this a good plan or should i just leave it to the dealership?

If you are refering to OEM body parts, they fit on very easily. The fender and front bumper are very simple. It's just a matter of getting to the bolts/screws to get them in.
Aftermarket kits are all different. Some fit great, some fit like crap. You won't know until you buy one and try it.

i had to replace my fender, its not that hard, just take out your turn signal and start unscrewing. Check with hmaservice to see where all the bolts are. Your also going to have to take off your fenderwell guard to make it a little easier. But overall you can do it in about a hour (remove and re-install).
as for the bumper, i dunno.
