this has started happening only recently. when i'm doing 20mph+ and i go over a stormdrain (you know how they create a dip in the road), i get a grind/screech/rub noise coming from the rear-passenger side. at first, i thought that i might have been bottoming-out and my intake was scraping and it just sounded like the noise came from the rear, but it's happened enough now that i can reproduce it, and i'm certain it's originating from the rear-passenger corner. furthermore, the noise occurs whenever the rear-passenger tire hits whatever dip i happen to go over. could it be that this strut has gone out and this is a symptom/result? i would like to determine if this would be covered under warranty and then take it to the dealership, knowing what the problem is, rather than having to take one of the "highly-trained techs" for a drive.
