I need some help figuring out what happened to my turn signals front and rear. I checked all the bulbs and they are working. The little arrows don't come on in my dash cluster. Even when I turn on the hazard lights. Although when I trigger my factory alarm the lights light up.

Also my alarm is being dumb too. The little light on the steering wheel is staying lit all the time, even when the alarm is off. And the " beep beep " sound doesn't go off either. I have an appointment with the Hyundai service people on Tuesday although I would love to fix this now so I can drive my car again. These problems are for a 2000 Tiburon and all things are pretty much stock except or external apperance.

Ok question? do the signals work I know you said the arrows don't light up but do your hazards and turn signals work outside, check your fuses for starters and I don't know how unless you took the dash apart if the hazard plug fell off or if you forgot to reconnect it if the dash was off this would cause the problem too. All in all unless these are your problems let the factory deal with it. As far as your alarm it sounds to me it is stuck in valet mode now depending on how hyundai has this wired up even thow I have been doing this for years I have yet to see a fatory Tib alarm it migh be causing this problem too because for a fact it is wired to you parking lights. So my suggestion is check all fuses first, find your manual and get it out of valet if the instructions for taking the valet off go to www.clifford.com even thow the model number you may not know the process will be the same and last if you did take the dash off check to make sure you connected the hazard switch back up if not wait for your oppointment. Thanks Jaws, I got the alarm to work good again. I read the instuctions and it was in valet mode. But the damn turn signals and hazards aren't working yet. I think i'll leave that to the Hyundai people. I have everything hooked up right for the dash and hazards, and the fuses are all okay. Stupid thing just wants to be difficult. Oh well thanks for your help with the alarm, I really appreciate it. smile.gif
