Default Tiburon Overheated, Need Advice Please

Hello everyone.

First of all, I hope I've posted this in the correct section. Forgive me If I haven't. I'm ok with it being moved to its correct forum section if need be.

Anyways, I own a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon. This car has been great to me since I purchased it used from a buddy just over a year ago. It's fulfilled its job quite well, while sparing me any headache. However, just yesterday my car overheated on me. When I got home I inspected its radiator and found that this part was to blame. It showed signs of leakage and a majority of the fins were severely bent. I know that replacement is my only option at this point, but before I do so, I'd like some advice. I've decided to purchase an aftermarket version online, but don't know which companies are reputable. I've found two that I particularly like but before I buy from one of them, I'd like some sort of verification that they are a legitimate business. I almost never buy anything online so I don't know how to spot a scam, and I can't afford to be scammed.

Has anyone dealt with either of the following companies and can verify that they are a legitimate company? The parts on each site match the OEM number of the part I need.. Thanks in advance.

I haven't dealt with either company, nor have I heard of them.

I don't know what manufacturers are commonly used for the GK radiators, but we have some good vendors here that could help you.

Unless you are going for a big power upgrade, a stock replacement (even from a junk yard) would probably be just fine.

I make my living at a company that sells mostly on eBay and let me tell you: a seller feedback rating in the high 99% range is not easy to maintain. It takes customer service like you wouldn't believe. So when you find a seller like this one below (not me!) with a bunch of feedback and a high rating, it is a fairly good bet you can trust them. Before spending on a site with no rating system I'd sooner try this:

eBay is spooky to a new buyer, but have a look what their other customers have said: http://feedback.ebay.com/ebaymotors/...edbackAsSeller

I never heard of either of those companies before, but here are my impressions:

The partsultimate website looks very slap-dash. This part also fits: and then a blank line? Huge red flag right there. Plus this: http://www.google.com/search?num=100...&aqi=&aql=&oq=

From a very quick look around, the radiatorspot website looks much more professional. If I had to order from one of the two it would be these cats.

That's my two cents, not trying to advise you what to do, but what I would do.

I like stocker's idea of the junkyard pick.

Going to be much cheaper and a direct fit, AND you can look over the product before you buy it.

id like to add a +1 to going to a junkyard to picking up a radiator in good condition first. probably cost about 50$ or less at a junkyard and you wont have to pay shipping..

I would doubt either of those places are a scam but customer service at those big box distributors/resellers is sh*t usually and there is more chance of them screwing up your order.
