Default Tibby won't start: No Fuel flow, no spark

We put my car all together and went to start it and.... Reeen nin nin nin nin nin.... and nothing else no Rooom at the end. We checked the coil pack and that is getting juice but the plugs aren't sparking and there is no smell of gas from the tailpipe. No fuel, No spark, NO CAR???

I need crazy guys like Mechanix or Red for this. Me, Jaws, and Random are still pretty puzzled with this one.

If you are not getting a spark, or fuel pressure. I would be looking at the. MFI relay.

Well, he gutted his car and did all kinds of ****.

First thing I would look at is the MFI relay.

Thats what essentials turns everything on for starting.

Then go from there. If thats on the ECU is working. if not.

You need to look at the ecu.

The chassis is a 1997.

The wiring harness is off a 2000
The Engine and tranny are off a 2000

The fuel pump is only getting 6.5V when cranking
The coil packs are getting 12V, but there is no spark. We've tried 2 different coil packs.

There must be something wrong in the wiring, because as soon as we hookup the the wiring harnsess...the passenger side rear tail-lamp goes on (not brake light portion, just the tail lamp as though the lights were on)

hehe, what Random said...

But I did check and the Crank Position Sensor was only connected by one wire, the other two were disconnected. So... I'm gonna go do some crimping...

Are you testing one spark plug at a time out of the block? Waste spark--so that plug's companion needs to be grounded as well when checking.
