Think i lost third gear

Default Think i lost third gear

I was driving home today when to shift the fourth gear and that I was stuck in third . Pulled over right away .it cane out of gear no prob once I turned the car off



I continued driving home after and now third fells like a brick wall when I try to shift in to it

Well, actually if I'm very careful and I'm downshifting and rev match I can get it into second most of the time after a fluid change.



Was it giving you trouble before or was this out of the blue?

Just out if the blue but its only when she's running she will not go in to third

Rev match, double clutch, but only if you make up stupid sayings about not having your car as you do it. All kidding aside that really sucks.

I can't help but wonder if you're having linkage issues, how do the bushings look on the trans? Is there significant play?
