ok replaced all lifters
disconnected all belts except timing belt
unplugged one injector at a time
and still have a tick
could the oil pump make a tick
could it be the pressure releif valve
it sounds just like a valve tic
except it that its not there at idle
this one has me stumped
it sounds to high pitched to be rod
but i dont know
compresion is still between 215 and 220(same as 0ne year ago test) on hot engine test

 

nevermind found it timing belt has missing tooth
ticks just like an hla
