Revision A... Evolved!!!
Well this whole thing started when I got my AEM intake for a great deal. I was all excited until Autobot said, "Yeah that's great, now you gotta put that thing in the for sale section and get youself an AOS instead... YOU REVISION A LOOOOSER!!!"
Well he said most of that I might have added a little too...:hmmm:
So I really wanted this AEM right, so I set out on a quest to move my beloved "charcoal canister".
Shortly after this I bought the front clip off a wrecked 2000 and took the engine, tranny, sunroof, seats, AND ECU (with the WHOLE wiring harness).
I decided to make my 1997 into a 2000 minus the spider eyes, hehe.
I soon ran into a problem. The plugs on the new harness didn't match the ones I had and I thought I could fix this by adding the new canister off the 2000 tib.
I looked at the fuel system pages in both Rev A and Normal tibby manuals and found out I'd have to do this.
I had to find a way to get all of this into my car (new lines BLUE, new tank RED, new canister PURPLE
So I pulled out the old tank
and the lines which required me to drop both front and rear suspension include the rack and pinion up front
single handedly installed the new tank (NEVER EVER DO THIS). bolted it down
I found a odd *** sized bolt for one end of this mount.
and drilled and tapped a new one (WHERE RANDOM SAID I WOULDN'T HAVE TO,hehe) Randoms spot "It'll work!" BLUE and the new hole I had to drill RED
and mounted the new canister like all you guys have stock damnit!
and this all came about because I wanted REAL cold air intake and my buddy Random, introduced me to my little friend here.
Oh and the total cost of this mod---0.00

Well I have one tib now that's not Rev A but I still have the green tib that is soooo. I cant hate em too much. I'm gonna run some lines down to the rear bumper and put the canister off the green one back there.
