Default oil filter thread

Just a simple one anyone know the thread size that the oil filter screws onto, as i am about to get an oil cooler but im not sure what thread i need in the sandwich plate.

Sorry forgot its on a 99 gen1 coupe

Anyone have any idea on this as webtech doesnt list thread sizes.

what happened to the old one? if it's not FUBAR, you should be able to get the threat pitch off of it. i went on webtech it and didn't have that info gay because my HMA shop manuals have all of that info. if i remember, i'll look up the thread and email it to ya...but it'll have to be when i'm back in fl in 5 weeks

Thanks no there is nothing wronge with the old one, its just that the oilcooler setup im looking at runs from a sandwich plate that goes inbetween the filter and the engine. So i needed to know this thread so i can get the right plate.

Contact Rob at Hyundaiperformance.com, they sell an oil cooling kit and some other similar items, they should be able to tell you the size.

I dont have a thread pitch tool, a lot of the kit and ramps i use belong to the army and they get a bit of a sad on if i start using them for everything.
