Guys, I need help.

I am looking for a particular type of muffler. I want the DTM 2 tip angled up style like this.



But with a 3" entrance. Anyone know of where I could find one?

If I cannot find one, I will just "make" one by welding on a DTM tips, but I thought I would check to see if anyone knew of any.

Magnaflow only has 2.5" entrance opening in the DTM style (where I got the photo from), but I'm thinking of using the Magnaflow 3" dual 2.5" outlet, and welding on 2 DTM angled tips.

 

Brullen used to make look alikes, hummm I think ractive still does.

Random, just please please make sure that it sticks out enough, you have such a clean looking tibby, that most of the guys that I know with that muffler always have a huge black smoke mark all over the rear...

 

Yeah Random...I remeber you said you did a Dyno test and said you had carbon spitting out your tail pipe, remember? I see ppl with black marks on thier bumpers from these mufflers. Get a Karbonlite

i have it and no smoke marks. but its i think only a 2.25 entrance

 

The black crap used to show up even if I washed my car every week. (on a white car it is REALLY noticable), but after the 1500 Miles to Park City Utah and back...nuthin. The last retune alpine did improved my city and highway gas mileage, and seemed to eliminate that problem. It still pings like crazy at 0-10% throttle, but the other areas are improved.
