Need help
In the morning when i start my car i hear a rattling noise coming from the tranny. When i push the clutch down it goes away and as i release it it comes back.If i drive around for a few minutes the sound goes away.
I think its my throw bearing in the tranny.I just installed the new brass button clutch and the bearing can be defective.
Or it can be something else wrong, any help would be appreciated smile.gif

I've only heard that sound on a clutch that was 2 weeks from dying (ask Speedblind).
You can try to bleed the system, you might have air in the system.
It might just be a "feature" of the brass button clutch. It maybe "noisy" untill it warms up. I dunno....

The noise started when i first picked up my car from the shop and i drove around for a while and went away. After around a week later the noise came back.I noticed it does this when its cold and then goes away when you drive off for a bit.
I had that same problem during the first few months after I bought my car last winter. Went away after it warmed up, but I noticed it again a couple of days when it was unsually cold. And when it's unsually hot, my rear-view mirror housing buzzes, and my steering wheel squeeks... Weird...

Hey i had the same problem...
It is not the tranny or the clutch.
It is the belt adjuster that adjusts the alternator belt.
There is a screw over there that can be adjusted .Its very easy but you have to adjust it otherwise the belt will come off or break!!!!!!!
The noise is coming from the inside moving parts of the alternator and not from the clutch, tranny, etc.
My mechanic had forgotten to put the adjuster whein i changed all the belts(steering wheelīs,A/Cīs,timing,and alternatorīs)and when i put it it wannt still ok.It still needed a bit adjustment.
The weird thing was that when motor warmed uop i couldnt hear the noise.
