Muffler Help.
Looking for a new muffler with 2.5" inlet...
I want it to be as close to stock sound as possible...
Just have an aftermarket tone at WOT.
-for turbo application-

well, i think it's gonna be really hard to find something that sounds stock except at wot. however, you could just get the q-tec and a really loud muffler. if you don't know what the qtec is, search for it. tongue.gif it's basically a valve that you control via the cockpit to make your exhaust stupid-loud or stock. it's either qtec or q-tec.

I know no aftermaket performance muffler will sound stock at WOT, but I dont want a loud muffler...
Im leaning towards a 30 series Flowmaster...
I already have a glasspack inline to help reduce nosie.

flowmaster is probably the LAST muffler I would want to reccomend for a quiet sounding muffler.
I would look into a Borla or pacesetter. They are usally fairly quiet. I would also look at a Dynomax or Magnaflow.

Does anyone have any reference of the Summit Stainless Steel Mufflers?
Also, I asume everyone is talking about a setup that includes CAT-GLASSPACK-MUFFLER or not?
When I replaced the stock exhaust on my Elantra for just a 24" Dynomax Glasspack (we're not required to use CAT here) even the stock muffler sounded noisier.
