If you can feel it in the clutch petal...hrmmm Check your axles and CV joints. Examine the rubber boots for leaks/rips.

i just had it in the shop last week for the inner tie rod....you would think that they would have checked that stuff while they were there right??? what about the engine mounts??? is that a possiblity?

yes, you would think they would have checked that, but then again, they could have made something worse, or not tightened things down.

I doubt motor mounts, you would feel that throught the steering wheel, floor, clutch and brake pedals.

the other way to check for CV joints is to do a full steering lock circle in a parking lot. If you hear "clunk, clunk, clunk", then you KNOW it's your CV joints.

If it didn't do this before they replaced your tie rods...take it back to them to have them examine it. Take them for a test drive to demonstrate the noise.

actually it did it before i put the suspension in.....i thought that the noise was the strut....

so basically go in circles and see if it makes the noise???

the 'clunk' when you hit the steering lock is normal.

Since the turning in circles didn't make noise, that sorta rules out CV joints.

If it made the noise before the suspension work, then it could be your brake pads are not shimmed.

have you ever removed your calipers or done a brake pad replacement?

I have the same prob. I think it is the brakes on mine. I am doing the brakes soon, so I guess I will find out then. A klunk from the front driver tire area
