Default Indiglo pedals-2k1 Tib

Anyone installed these on a manual Tib? I got these things from Father Christmas (I think it really was my girlfriend tho smile.gif). The clutch and brake pedal both went on without a hitch, but that damned gas pedal seems to be way too big for the small,oddly-shaped stock gas pedal. The metal plates that you are supposed to bend around the back of the pedal do not all even touch the back of the pedal... Anyone???

The tibby gas pedal sucks rocks. 99% of aftermarket pedal sets don't fit it right.

You can just try to "glue" it on there with 3m adhesive tape, or drill/dremel a hole through the pedal for the metal brackets to fit.

My pedals are the "clamp on" type, and the back of the pedal is so damn narrow, I couldn't find anything to clamp on to. After playing with it for nearly an hour, I finally found a way that works.

Just keep fidling with it untill you can find a method that works. Since yours are the "surround" method, with a strap that goes behind the pedal, try finding a longer pice of metal to use.

It took me a while but I finally got mine on, (2k1 tib). Just keep playing around, try adjusting the prongs before putting it on and attach the adhesive that came with them, then slide from the bottom up, or top to bottom, and tighten the screws. You'll figure it out, just takes time my friend!

What I did was I slipped the metal strip through the pedal and used a cable tie strip (i think that's what they're called)to get a better hold...haven't had any probs so far...
Hey Random where'd you get your pedals from...they look sweet...plus it's so hard to find a set with a matching footrest that I like.

Mine came from Shark Racing. Boogyman can get them if you ask him. They are CAREX brand.

I purchased Lite Glows El pedals. I also have a 2k1 tib. I hope there are no problems when I install mine.
