Default I need HELP...bad!!!

ok..here is the story.

Two days ago..my rims come in so me and my friend decided to put them on..we put them on..but after a few hours we relized we had them on backwards...rotation wise...so we figured tomm...we'll change them..so i just drove to work(which is about 2 blocks ) and back.

next morning..we decide that we will rotate the tires side by side to fix that backwards rotation..we'll all the wheels come off..but my drivers side front..1 lug wouldn't not ..

so i decided that maybe i'll take it to the local pepboys..and have them do a oil change and rotate the tires..i come back a hour later..they said that a stud was broken..which was from that wheel..he said whoever put the wheel on(my friend) but the tries on backwards and put the lug in wierd..so when they tried to take it off the sutd snapped...so i have them put in a new stud ($120)..which i wasn't pissed about..

i go to work and i have my g/f pick the car up..she calls me back saying the car is pulling to the side really bad...i figure maybe a alignment problem..she said it was def.. not a alignment problem..so when i drove the car...if you go above 30 mmph..the steering DIVES left and right..really bad..my g/f said she almost got in a accident coming home..so i immedialtey bring it back to pepboys..and have the guy drive it and he comes back and was like WTF!?! so he lifts the car and can't find anything wrong.

i left the car there as it is totally undriveable!

what could be wrong?..my uncle says that they probably messed up the sterring box..trying to bang the stud out???..there is no way they can find me responsible for this and possible charge me for this right??

i mean i had never had this problem until they worked on the car

please someone reply i need to know what is going on!

Since speed is a factor the wheels may just need to be balanced. Or perhaps the new stud is a different weight than the others, which will also srew up your balance.

the studs are really close 2 the hub, it would have 2 be a HUGE weight differance for u 2 even notice a shaking... it wouldnt cause it 2 dive 2 one side?

does this onlyu happen when u let go of the wheel or when ur stiln the wheel

They should fix it. Have them do a 4 wheel alignment, and that should find the error. They probably did just what your uncle said.

This is the third "pep boys" horror story on this board. When are folks going to stop going there. suicide
