ok i feel stupid asking this question, but how do u take off the back seat from a 2 gen tiburon.

 

Don't know about 2G, but on my 97:

you remove the split-folders with a wrench. There are two brackets, one in the middle and one on the side of each seat. Once those are off, they lift right out.

Once that's out of the way, I believe there are some bolts in the back of the seat and the front is held in by clips. Just pull up really hard and it pops up. Then the whole unit just comes out together.

I had to remove it when I upgraded the fuel pump. Believe it or not, the folders are muuuch heavier than the bottom seat.
