You can pull the inner fender plastic liner and see what's under there. It's not much if I recall correctly. Mostly I just wanted to point out that hyundaitechinfo has drawings with all the dimensions of the engine bay, in case you want to measure and see if anything is still out of whack.

running out of room to widen holes on the hood latches but its slowely close to looking like it fits right again

 

does anyone have a number for how much space is between the alternator pulley and side wall of the engine bay?
