Default Hmm... Can't figure out this problem..

ok, i'll explain this as simple as possible.

I'll be driving along, it doesn't seem to matter what gear i'm in, but it is mostly send in 2nd and 3rd.

I give it gas.. let off the gas... just little tiny shots on the pedal. to the floor and back. Ok.. now I'm not on the accelerator... everything's fine.. About 3 seconds after I take my foot off the accelerator, the car does this little 'jolt' thing. Just one jolt. I can't figure out what it is, and it's pissing me off.

TPS might be stuck,... could be the throttle cable too, but more likely the TPS.
Have you had it replaced since you got the car moof?

No I haven't replaced it... but from what you say, that could also explain my rough idle. Cause I know the TPS will do that, too.

There's a TSB on it,...
I dunno if your car is still under warranty, but next time you come down, get that thing replaced.
I'm not sure how that works. You might just have to pay for the part,...

But ask Dave or Alex to find out for ya

Odd enough, what I'm about to tell you.

I finally got that damn CAI on today. Boy, is it scratched to hell. Oh well, I'm not in it for looks. but yeah, the jolt thingy problem is gone now.

eh?

P.S. CAI + -40 weather = V8 sound.
God damn thing sounds so low and loud, it drowns out my stereo.

well, my car sounded badass in fl, with the 80+ degree weather and my cai. it was almost like vtech. up to 4 grand on the tach, it was normal, then it just kicked in...the sound and the pull.
