im havin the EXACT same problem on my tibby, but mine happens more frequently... but when you start up.. maby for the first 5 - 10 mins of ride. It was happening all the way in the begining of novemenr... i have a 2001 tiburon... i took it to 2 dealers and they couldnt "find" any problem. What was this your were talking about.. tpr ?
i dont understand... what exactly do i do becuase it really pisses me off.. sometimes even when the car is warm... the rpms wont drop at a normal rate.. sometimes ill shift at 3,500 rpm and it will literally.. without a joke... take 5 seconds before it sllllllooowly drops to 3,200 rpm with the clutch in.. once i engage gear it automatically matches rpm.... this aint normal is it/?
what do i do/????

Check the name on your Throttle position sensor. If it says "Dae Sung"...take your car to your dealer, and inform them of the TPS.

You can print this out to inform them if they claim to be clueless. If they are clueless...take it to Hyundais 1-800 customer service number...so THEY know the dealership is stupid!
