Default high altitude vehicles

Hi i was wondering if anyone knows of problems with tiburons at high altitude levels. I know a friend of mine bought a new chevy truck at sea level(in Seattle much like i did with my tiburon) and once he got it back to montana it started acting up and the dealer couldn't figure out what was wrong with it until they noticed that it didn't have what they call a high altitude package. Does hyundai have anything like this or do tiburons require anything like this. I was just wondering because my car kinda stinks sometimes and it doesn't get excellent gas mileage all the time(that is when i am not hot rodding it).

Thanks for any info

The tibbies do not need a "high altitude" package. The MAF sensor automatically compensates for air density changes due to altitude. However...you are probably down a few HP compared to a Tiburon at sea level. You should notice a performance increase if you ever visit one of the coasts...
