Default Half of my ignition system is union labor

Okay guys, my DOHC alpha LC accent is not firing on cylinders two and three. The coil pack is not attempting to create a spark at all, has anyone got any ideas? So far I've covered:

-Splug leads are all fine and in spec

-Coil pack is within spec, I already tried swapping the 2'n'3 coil with the 1'n'4 coil to no avail.

-The wiring connectors are all perfectly fine

-There is 12v reaching the coils

-There is also 12v reaching the corresponding ECU pins

-All the ECU earths are fine, and the ECU is mounted properly.

I'm truly stumped here, anyone got a clue?

how do you know it is not firing on those cylinders?

how do you know the plugs and leads are fine?

I don't like to do it, but have you tried getting it to spark to the block holding the plug beside the engine (vs. installed) to make sure it has no spark?

I can remove the wires for cylinders 2 and 3, and it runs exactly the same. (badly)

Removing the wires for 1 or 4 will stall the motor out.

The plugs are known good items and the resistances in the leads are fine. I already swapped the leads around with some spares I had.

I believe igniters are in the ecu. Should be a two channel and sounds like one of the channels is dead. Happened to me with an aftermarket haltech igniter. Sounds like you've diagnosed most everything else.

Do you have an extra ecu you can plug in there real quick?

Clean up connectors under the coil that run to the plugs. Rebuild it clean it and put it back on.

You check all of the harness grounds? Trying to remember my Tib, but can't. I know Nissans have the coil ground wires grounded on the head.

I do, but I believe that the factory immobiliser system won't let it run if the ECU doesn't match the key and immobiliser. It's worth a shot though.

Nah, it ran exactly the same. I've already dismantled the coil and all the wiring connectors.

I checked all the ones that I'm aware of. There are a couple next to the ecu, then the block is grounded in the engine bay. They're all fine.

Okay. I swapped out the ecu (and immobiliser, f*cking SMARTRA) with my parts car, and it fired up and ran perfectly. Thanks for the help everyone
