Fan question..
You know how we have a dual fan on the radiator? My passenger side one seems never to go on. After my car is running for awhile, the driver side fan kicks on..but the other just sits there. Never noticed that before. Is there two stages for the fans to turn on? I'm kinda worried now, i've noticed a loss of about 30Hp..hehe..j/k..But I did take (by a nice length) Honda SI V-Tec...which he proudly showed his HUGE V-TEC vinynl banner on the side of his car. And the funny thing was I just just driving home..tryin to relax from a long day at work when i look over and hear him rev'n on me..So we made it next to next @ a light..and the Falken's did me proud..

Then also, still trying to relax and get home...a Ford Contour SVT was next to me..we were next to each other at the light and he didnt seem to want to race...no rev..or role iwndow down...northing...but i was or atleast thought i was ready...light turns green...i didnt notice any jump on his part ...so i took off normal...thne he punched it...i couldnt catch up with him...at a point i was about 2 car lengths from him when i stay'd level with him. no gain no loss. What under a contour? Please tell me i didnt get somked by a slow car...

Those are pretty nice cars. They're sticky in the corner also.
Also that second fan is more for the A/C condensor. Turn on your A/C and it will come on.

I smoked a guy in a Nissan Sentra BMW 320I. eek.gif Or at least that's what his badging said. It was funny because it didn't even look close to a BMW. And at least he could have badged it as a M3, or M5!!! It was really sad, it looked just like the sentra's from the early 80's. And it still had the nissan emblem on the grill, but on the hood it said BMW. On the back left, it had Nissan Sentra. And on the back right, it said 320i.

195hp! I dont feel so bad now. (note my mods) Seeing how I didnt get a chance to dump at a higher than 2k rpm. I NEED A DYNO. On the norm, a 2nd gen shark is 138-140HP stock correct? And my mod list isnt all that big currently. But im guessing that if mine was 140hp stock..and my mod list would/should/hopefully = 150HP give or take 1HP. tongue.gif) Any guesstamates to my HP per below list?

As jaws99 said. The passengerside fan is only for the AC condensor. it ONLY kicks on when the AC compressor is kicking on.
The larger fan on the drivers side is the actual raditor cooling fan. It should kick on at 205 degrees and off at 190 degrees.
