Electrical Problems and Engine Woes
Ok...while I was driving tonight, I noticed something that kinda freaked me out.
The map lights would ever so often blink on and and off. (this was with the lights originally off but had the door light function on). It would only happen when I was driving and not when I was at a stop.
The next problem is that my engine will die after driving for a while (over an hour of driving). The engine will shake a bit and when I let go of the gas, the car will stall. I know that the car isn't tuned yet and that could be the reason for my car doing this, but it is begining to annoy me.

the map lights are switched by the buttons. They are positive switched not negative switched. If they flash on, it's due to their grounding wire getting 12V. Not good.
For the idle problem, with a turbo, the "forced induction" really screws with the Idle air bypass. Open your throttle plate/idle set screw a tad farther than nomral to set the car to idle at 1000 rpm. This should keep it from dying.

As for the door, I think I got the problem solved.
A while ago, I took the car to LenStoler Hyundai (NEVER GO HERE! AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP LIKE THE PLAGUE) to get it fixed after an accident.
The passenger side door was fixed so improperly, it doesn't close all the way. I'm assuming that this is what is causing this problem.
As for the idle, I'll look into that. Thanks guys. I dont know what I would do without all of you

Maier!
I had the the same problem last year where my car would die at idle and stall. Also when i took my car out of storage it happened and my machanic adjusted the idle screw.
The idle screw at times have to be adjusted during weather changes. When its cold outside this could happen and you have to adjust your idle screw according to Temp changes at times!
