I removed the thingee from the door. I haven't had any problems for the past 2 years. There is a way to get rid of it without doing what I did... I'll look for it...

I found an OLD post asking the same question, answer thanks to Tunez...

QUOTE
Yes it can be killed!!! It is a little black box similar to a relay under the dash to the right of the steering wheel. If you lay in the floor and look up it is closer to the radio. Just start feeling the black relay looking things. When you feel the one that is clicking thats is it, unplug it a there ya go.

I cant believe no body posted who knew how to help. If you get on your back under the steering wheel and look up using a lil flashlight. There is a metal, unpainted shield (of sorts) over the column. That is where the "ding box" is at. You can find the clip that holds it in if you follow the wires from the box. I'll take pics and show you how. Dont even worry about the door.

You do want your lights when the door is open and not the ding right.

ITs two wires atop of the Key ignition.

Take off the two plastic things holding the steer column.

remove the RED coated power wire from the top of the Key ignition. Thats is were the bell chime comes from.
