cone air filter help

i need help how to put it. am i suppose to take that big black box out and then put that cone air filter and also theres a wire thats connected to the big black box i dont know what to do with it. maybe you guys can help

That wire that is connected to your airbox is an Intake Air Tempature Sensor.
Just put the sensor inside your cone air filter when you attach it to your mas air flow sensor. That will allow it to read the proper air temp for the MAF to work right.
