chain noise

Default chain noise

Has any one ever notice with sound of something likes chain noise? Please help.

well, where is the noise coming from? how loud is it?

The noise come inside valve cover on the right hand side which the chain is located.

take your valve cover off and examine the chain.

There is a chain that drives the intake cam off the right side of the exhaust cam.

The chain seem abit loose.I've checked the same problem of my friendit looks the same but this engine only 40,000km.Is it always looks loose.

there is no way to tension the chain. Your only option would be to order a new chain from hyundai or pick up a used chain from a junkyard.
