I'm going to be installing a digital air/fuel mixture guage. Do I hook it up to the O2 sensor closest to the engine? My 02 sensor has 4 wire coming out of it, which ones do I splice into?

You want to put it to the O2 sensor that is closest to the engine yes. As far as wiring it you hook it up to the white wire coming off of it. If you want to double check this get an Ohm meter and find the wire that is sending a signal.

 

Yup, the very first sensor out of the motor on the manifold, mine had white, orange and green, oh yellow to, I used the white wire but do test it first, Also make sure you put the wire and where you did the splice in some shielding, heat resistant tubing since it gets so hot there it will melt most wires insulation.
