New Members Who Jumped From GenCoupe.com!
I am hoping that we have managed to open the eyes of some people as to how GenCoupe.com is a sh*t site and you all make it over here to HA.ORG!
Introduce yourselves, what was your name on GC if you dont have the same one now, and what drove you over here to HA!
I look forward to talking with you all, love me or hate me.

I'm completely new to the idea of modding my car, though I do think I have a pretty good plan in place once I have the money. The more I lurked on GenCoupe.com the more I realized that the majority of the people there just didn't seem helpful to anyone who was/is new. The people are rude, some of the vendors are rude (and shady). Also, the ridiculous banning? I wouldn't say that necessarily drove me over here, as I wasn't a super active member of GC it wasn't a huge deal for me. I did all of my research on my own. When HellBilly recommended HA, I figured I would try it out. I already like it better than GC. *evil laugh*

The problem i have with newbies is the fact they refuse to search. having to answer the same topic over and over again gets old. And i really hate lazy people. Except Hellbilly, he gets a pass cause he has alot of homo love for scot.

I agree, some stuff is very easily found, but unfortunately it's hard to direct noobs to the search box, or to read stickies. Hopefully our members will spoon feed quick info and encourage them to search for refined details. It takes just as much time to give direction as it does to flame a newcomer.

Being a forum admin and a forum mod elsewheres, I tend to search for a week before asking. Well, not a week, but you get the point.
Hellbilly, your new avatar doesn't seem to be as awesome as the old one...
