Donate To The Ronald McDonald House Microsoft Hockey Challenge!
Besides being a raging lunatic, I also play hockey, and I also do charitable events, here is one:
The Microsoft Hockey Challenge is a chance for Microsoft Employees with a hockey background to get together, form teams, and play hockey in an effort to raise funds and awareness for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Western Washington and Alaska.
The RMHC provides a “home away from home” for seriously ill children and their families, so they can seek the medical care they need regardless of where they are from. The Seattle branch opened in 1983 and depends on charitable donations and volunteer support from the community, corporations, and foundations for their continued existence.
The RMHC receives no government funding, and relies solely on the private sector for their funding.
The Microsoft IT team last year raised just over $20,000, and this year we are looking to raise at least $30,000.
